World Vision’s Global Rapid Response team can respond to a major emergency anywhere in the world within 72 hours and we continue on long after the reporters have left. We work in local, regional and even national scales to deliver aid swiftly to those in desperate need. World Vision responds to a wide range of crises, caused by natural disaster or war and conflict. In addition to responding to disaster, World Vision works hard within communities to help them avoid disasters, and to support those affected as they cope with the aftermath.
